...ehh. Well, it´s a weird fawn with poppies, or something. Made some traditional art for change, and THIS happened. Corg´s contest kind of inspired me, and I just painted it because with sharks and dolls, the psychotic children are one of the creepiest things there is. Not sure if this is really scary though. <_< Was going to do more darker picture, but because I´m sucker for smooth pictures and detail, I couldn´t get myself to darken it more. Oh well. *shrug*
At least it kicked my art block´s butt for now. Thank you for the inspiration, it had been a while since I have played with my watercolors. =)
Aaaargh , that is amazing and
First: Holy crap this is
Second: I am truly afraid of relatively little, but there are two things that unfailingly make me uncomfortable - grasshoppers, and especially children. No joke, kids in general just kind of scare me. Creepy kids are the worst. So you're right on the mark. I love it.
Oh I love this 8D you made it

Flyleaf, Thanks! Yeah, they
Corg, Wow, thank you! <3 Hehe, good to know that I´m not the only one who thinks kids are creepy little creatures... I was going more for that "uncomfortable" or disturbing feeling rather than gore, wasn´t sure how well it worked out. Grasshoppers are kinda devilish-looking things also.. Maybe I should have put grasshopper-face on it, it would have truly been a creature of nightmare. o_o
minimuuh, Thank you!
Hm, maybe its not being "evil" because it wants to be evil on purpose, rather being just insane, or something? *shrug*
Vala, <3 <3 <3 =)
Omg, this is amazing. o__o
Endfawn! This is gorgeous!
It's incredible! O: You
You really hit the spot. I love how close you've gone to the actual features and of the fawns, adding the poppies - it adds to the creepiness.
I imagine walking behind a cute, little fawn, cheerfully wanting to make a new acquaintance... and suddenly it stops, turning it's face towards you with that creepy smile. Ooh! *shudder*
(btw I'm an oldie returned; I hope you don't mind a comment from a stranger)
SnowSauria&Kittyo8, Thank
aerdath, Heh, thanks! That´s pretty much what I had in mind, but I didn´t get it as subtle I would have wanted... probably should have done more neutral backround and different lighting... It would have been cool to do the fawn partly as a silhuet a bit farther away, and someone watching him from a window, but my skills weren´t up to it. I´m very glad that you got the feeling of it, though. <3
And of course I don´t mind comments, rather I´m flattered every time I get one, be it from a person I "know" or from one I don´t. =)
