How will someone know who you are on the site if you meet them in the game?

So i read in the T.E.F read me that if you ate a pinecone that fell on the ground, after rubbing up against it, then you would get an antlers spell. I'm a fawn and i've rubbed up against, i wanna say every tree in the forest... no pinecone fell. I know i'm a noob D: but please help me. XD
