and so he broke away once more...

He could hear the birds singing.
He smelled the woods, heard the lwafes whispering in the wind.

Confusuion for a moment.

"Was..." ('what...')

Then a smile.

He opened his eyes, slowly lifted his head from the ground.

He felt dizzy, like he felt that day, when he arrived for the first time.

His ears flickered, tried to catch the sounds of the forest, not entirely sure about ther meanings.
At least for now.

It was a nice day.
Warm... sunny... peaceful.

A short giggle, his mind became clearer.

... pain...

... his jaw still hurted... seemed he took the injury with him.
Good they didn't shoot at him, then, yes?

"Siehst du, Doc? ... hab.... doch gesagt... ich komm raus... he he..."
('See, Doc?... told.... told ya.... I get out...he he') he mumbled

Slowly he got up to his hooves...
... it was not that hard to move and coordinate his movements like it was when he got his human body back. He was still used to be a deer.
For him only passed a few hours, after all...

He wondered how much time passed by here, in this place.
In the forest...
In this goddamn forest...

He hated this place, nearly as much as he hated the cell he came from.
For him this was a prison... like his cell.
Much bigger, yes... but still... a prison.

Ah he won't stay for long this time, no, no...
... he would just 'pick up' his siter... and then they would leave this place forever...
...together they surely would make it out of the damn Institute as well...

Finally!

Ha!

He started to laugh, he threw his head back, started to dance, to jump, to run...
... he stopped sliding....

Something... something was strange.

"Was... was ist... was ist das?"
('What... what's.... what's that?')

Suddenly he noticed that his voice sounded much different than usual... higher...

He narrowed his eyes.

The trees around him... the grass... everything... he didn't remember it that.... big.

His eyes widen all of the sudden...
... he tried to look at his body, started to run in a circle, like a dog, that tries to catch his tail.
He stopped, turned the other way round.

Suddenly he stopped again, made a growling noise... and stormed off towards the pond.

Splashing noises as he ran into the water.
He stard at his distorted reflection on the waves.

[i]"Das... Das ist ein Witz, ja...?"

He started to giggle... backed off...

he walked backwards on the shore again... unable to stop his giggling and snickering...

Suddenly he struggled over his own hooves, fell down on his backside.

The giggling became laughing.

He laughed his head of... unable to stop...

That... that was a joke... sure it was...
... and a very good one, really!

[i]Makes him cracking up, yes, yes

His laughter echoed above the pond...
... it took some time until he calmed down again.

He felt stitches in his side... he had tears in his eyes.
God, that was good... really!

Of... of course... this... this was just logical.
... he died... after all...

...the filthy animal died.

And this... this was how he arrived here the first time as well...

The filthy animal is dead, it can not live again, yes?
It has to be a new filthy animal, then, yes?

He started to smile.

"Well then, soldier. It's a nice day, yes...?"
