OK, so there's no BZD online

OK, so there's no BZD online (and I restarted the game after his leave), but for some reason I see fog around the Ruins along with bats, owl screeches and creepy dance music. In other parts of the forest the weather is normal. Does anyone else see that or is it just my glitch?
