Hi everyone. I had this idea for a while now and I was wondering if it will be a good idea to help with Project Greenleaf. Since Christmas is basically around the corner, I figured that this will be perfect for the season.
As you can see I had made these before. I used to buy simple wooden shapes and paint them as animals. After painting them I would use them as Christmas tree ornaments. They even made great gifts for family and friends and they were nifty stocking stuffers. Here in this photo you can see that the ornaments are painted from simple wooden shapes And I can cut off the antlers for deer with nondefault antlers and replace with feathers and antlers molded from air dry clay I just purchased. The colors will be acrylic paints and the hangers will be hemp cord. If I have good handwriting by painting skills, maybe I’ll paint the deer’s picto on the hind quarter. Extras for the antlers such as flowers and candles will also be made from the clay and glued on the antlers.
Now the pricing…I hate to make them steep due to the fact that these simple wooden shapes run around 25 to 35 cents. But please think about how intensive (and messy!) painting and antler molding process is before you point that out. So I’ll make it fair at around $5 per deer. Shipping is sketchy but since I’ll be shipping them out by padded parcel envelopes, shipping through the US or Canada will run around $3 and shipping over overseas will be $5. Extra deer in one order will be $1 per deer plus $1 shipping extra per deer.

I'll also accept money Orders and Cash (US DOLLARS PLEASE though those who live in places that use Euros and English money can have the money exchanged at airports and banks) so please email me for my mailing adress for snail mail orders.
