Since I've seen a few people do this, I'm going to post a little biography for my stag, Taiko (and maybe myself XD), as I've done in the 'Finding Forest Friends' list in the support forum.

Name: Taiko (or Adagio)

How to Remember It: It's a pretty simple pictogram; It resembles a little birdhouse, the way I see it.

Gender: I guess I can say he's genderless, but I refer to him as being a stag.

Description: Taiko can be described as an awkward, and maybe even strange character by a few. Though while he may appear calm and shy at first, he can be very energetic and hyper once you get to know him better. Almost always will he be seen running around and button mashing around his friends. He follows alot of his human's personality traits, as well. Like her, he's very paranoid, and even a bit shy and anti-social at times. He carries alot of doubt, and can easily get discouraged from and by anything, especially when it comes to socializing, brought on by his Social Anxiety. He's terrified of large groups of deer, and surely wouldn't be willing to approach one unless a close friend were to be with him. The only exception he'll make to willingly join a group would be in an Abiogenesis. Alot of times he can feel left out or ignored, and always worries about what others think of him. He sees alot of deer as being more superior than him, sometimes causing him to get a bit envious of others if he feels he is not on equal terms with them, though he tries his best to hide that emotion. He never really knows how to act, especially around strangers, and feels it 'safer' to have others approach him rather than he approach them. He can never really gather the courage to approach others on his own; he always gets an irrational feeling that he will be rejected or unwanted. Though he loves playing and messing around with friends, he's usually much too shy to try and make new ones.

Friends: Jen, Halogen, Laruna, Redkora, Sluggs, Scape, Magnet, Barwick, 21, Whisper, Vipin, GoldenWinged, Nem, 69, Lieka, Quamar, Ada, Skyler, Pepokeen, SS, Noekie, Walter, Kinoshi, Squeegie, Envy, Bonnan, Timber, Ammy, Cyric, Her, Esll, Rune, and basically everyone else he's played with in the forest. XD

Location: Taiko will usually be found sitting near the pond or ruins, just waiting for something to happen. But on few occasions, sometimes, he'll randomly wander around the forest.

Appearance: He tends to change his appearance frequently, but as of now, he's finally found a favorite set; the Skull mask, Zombie pelt, and the Candle antlers. ^^

NOTE: Just thought I'd add this in, but if Taiko ever runs away when you come near him, please excuse his behavior; it just means that he (or his human, rather) is not in a good mood (most likely paranoid, though) and not up for playing at the moment.
