Aw, you're welcome V. I actually have a question for you, but I'll see if I can give critique as well. Your sketch, it scanned so clean. Do you have some method of cleaning your pencil work once it's scanned in?

As for critique...hm.
Are you shading with a darker tone of the base color? Brown on brown, blue on blue, etc? A very helpful trick for vibrancy is using higher saturated darks with a lower opacity. I use 50% opacity or less. Pallet wise i may use a dark violet to shade blue, or a deep red to shade brown. Red shades orange nicely, and orange shades yellow well.

I'd love to do a collab with you, by the way. Or a trade, whichever you prefer.

And all of that aside, I rather like your update with her palette. Brown and blue are a favorite combination of mine.

Yeah I use photoshop to clean

Yeah I use photoshop to clean up my sketches mostly just playing around with the brightness and contrast, also the levels help a lot too. I shade using greys without any colors at all and then I overlay and play around with the colors and different layer settings until I'm happy but I'll try out the suggestions because it sounds like it would look pretty nice (:
