Updated my discord info now that usernames have been rolled out.
Don't have a whole lot going on, but work has been kicking my ass since mid-March. I work one day every other weekend, plus my usual full 5 days. Watching shows is my favorite wind down activity lately as it demands the least of my brain lol. That said, I'm always open to RP and chat over discord, just bear with me and my mush brain. If I'm logged into Forest, chances are I'm around but probably watching something in my browser.

A quick guide on play style:
Have a
RP comfort guide. It is subject to changes and updates.
I'm often distracted and tabbed out oof so sorry about that. If I have my deer sitting I'm
probably tabbed out and checking periodically. If I'm standing and paused I'm
looking away for a second (probably checking pictos) and intend to return quickly.
I'm generally pretty open to all kinds of character interactions. If for whatever reason I don't want to participate, I will sit/ignore and/or
contact you directly (because I know being ignored feels bad) and let you know. When in doubt, no harm in asking!
I'm open to plotting things, casually/formally/long form/short form. I can usually get at least one long post in a day on weekdays, but if work gets busy or I got multiple RPs, might be just a couple a week. There is no requirement for RP to involve anything in-game, and I'm open to have characters meet however. Can always just pretend they met in Forest.
I generally break character or find some middle ground for anyone running around on a
pictogram that isn't registered to TEFc, or is new. It goes without saying but this applies to nameless as well.
I'm not gonna say my characters are completely IC 100% of the time bc it just ain't true. Being
always IC in-game for every little thing is exhausting. Sometimes my characters would be more active than I have the energy for. Being tabbed out makes 100% IC pretty impossible anyway.
I try to be most of the time, but I definitely slack off every now and then. But RPs and active, in-game interactions between OCs are always IC.

But yanno, what does it matter to them what type of characters we play? I don't give a damn what type of deer someone else plays. I don't like the character I don't interact with them. Plain and simple.
The only problem comes up
"Your deer has magic powers/skull mask/tragic past/(whatever)? Oh, that must be making up for lack of personality development." <--- one example. I can name plenty more.
It disappoints me. I want to treat everyone as equally as possible. The only reason I can think of, besides my already stated fear, as to why I avoid interaction is that sometimes I just don't know how to talk to younger players (and younger people in general). I know when I was younger I dogged the heels of my elders, and I guess I have a phobia of that happening to me. I don't like being clung to/depended on too much.
Other than that, nothing.
I guess I can just ignore that the players might think like this and interact anyway, but I don't think that would be fair to me. Selfish, maybe.

Oh, rats.. I had 3. They were
I had 3. They were amazing. 2 boys. Pikachu and Pichu. One was a Siamese, one was a Berkshire. And Kiseki, a rescue. I forgot what she was called.. a hooded? She had a giant tumor.
They were wonderful pets. Pikachu was my first, he had the best temparament of a lot of my pets period, cats and dogs included. Very gentle, very loving. I took him shopping with me, and he groomed me after baths and would try to be greedy with his little yogurt treats. It was adorable.
Pichu had a testosterone issue which made him aggressive when he got older, I guess it's an issue in rats sometimes.
Rats are great pets, but they can be susceptible to tumors and abcesses. Pikachu died of an abcess, and Kiseki had a tumor. I had to put them both to sleep, Pichu was the only one who died of natural causes. Rats always want to be with you, they're social creatures. Males I think make better pets, but they do like to mark territory so you'll see little pees here and there when they're climbing on you. They can even be litter trained and trained to come when you call. They're very intelligent. They just get such a bad rep.
I love them, and I'd have more, but their average lifespan is only 2-3 years and to me it's just so heartbreaking to lose them in such little time. They're little creatures with such great big hearts.
