The small little fawn was running through the light snow. She had just finished her dance practice & was proud of herself that she didn’t fall on her face. Her little hooves suddenly halted when a familiar scent swept through her small nose. She was still getting used to figuring out scents & smells but she let her nose to the leading as she followed the scent to a resting Big Fluffy. A wide smile grew on her face as she trot over, sniffing him & nuzzling him before sitting near him ”What Big Fluffy doing?” she asked, cocking her head to the side.
The stag twitched as a faint familiar scent drifted onto his nose, then twitched more as he felt something touching him. He opened an eye, heavy with sleep, he dazed at the tiny fawn in front of him for a few moments before realising who it was. He stared for a while before replying "I was sleeping..." . A slight annoyed expression showed on the stag as he yawned, then he thought of an idea. Thorn stood with stiff legs, stepped over to the sitting fawn and simply sat on her, then lay across the flower bed, stretching but making sure not so up too much pressure on Jo. "This is for waking me up" .

A smile kept on her face as he moved about. Not having any understanding about certain behaviors or feelings she didn’t see anything wrong with the large male. She had of course just recently felt the sad & happy emotion. She kept still as the male sat on her but didn’t move, she just thought this was normal stuff. Her hazel eyes moved to watch before speaking ”Why Big Fluffy no smile?” she asked, her face full of confusion. She had never met someone who looked sad all the time. Then she remembered Aria & her words ”Where Big Fluffy’s family?” she asked, keeping the confused look.

Oh & where it says she hadn't met anyone who always looked sad, that & happy are the only emotes she fully knows, so other chars are either happy or sad to her right now.
Thorn looked at Josephine as she asked about his family and why he wasn't smiling, perhaps she thought the two things were linked? But Thorn knew he was dealing with a fawn here, he couldn't just say he killed his siblings because he wanted his mother all to himself. "Only one of my family members are in this forest. My Father can't be found and my Mother...is having a peaceful life in a different forest." Thorn looked around him, "does it matter if I don't smile pipsqueak?...and what about you? Where are your parents...aren't you a little too small to be wandering around alone?" .
Pipsqueak? she wandered what that meant, but she wouldn’t ask. There were other things on her mind. Her gaze followed his as he looked around before looking back into his eyes. She would always talk to someone & look deep into their eyes ”Big Fluffy not happy?” she asked cocking her head. ”Josey don’t know where family is” she said, her ears pinning back a little. The honest truth was she didn’t even know if she had any… at least not of her own.
Thorn pondered on trying to find a way to get the fawn to understand,"Big Fluffy doesn't have to smile to be happy" . Thorntail wasn't so much concerned as he was interested in the tiny fawn. " You don't know where they are eh? That seems to happen a lot here. How have you been feeding yourself?"
She took the smile of her face & tried her best to copy the one on Big Fluffy’s ”Josey can be happy like this too” she said, trying to make her voice a little deeper, mocking the large male & giggling to herself, though it didn’t last long. Confusion once again showed on the babies face at his question. She looked up tilting her head ”Josey eats with mouth” she said ”how does Big Fluffy feed himself?”
The stag stared at the fawn wondering if she was saying these things on purpose or if it really was just innocence, but he wasn't going to let this fawn wind him up. " Nice face...and maybe I should of worded things a little better. What I meant was, what are you actually eating. what food?" . The fawn looked too young to be eating solid food, she looked like she still needed her mothers milk so how has she managed to get by?
She grinned wide, her canines being shown more than usual before she twitched her ears & exchanged the smile for a content look. ”Grass…” she whispered, looking up to the male ”stuff in the water... but..” she hesitated for a moment ”It makes Josey’s tummy sore eat that stuff.” she said, closing her eyes & remembering the pain she would get in her stomach from eating what she has been. She thought it was normal & perhaps it would go away eventually. ”It hurt Big Fluffy tummy?” she asked, opening her eyes yet again.
grass...Thorn knew that was bad, her stomach can't handle food that rich, "Maybe you should look for something else. I don't eat that stuff, I eat meat and if you don't know what that is then its other animals". Thorn thought about what he just said...was she going to question him about eating other animals? Maybe she won't understand that either...The stag sighed then flicked one of her ears with his tongue, " You really don't understand much do you pipsqueak?"
Meat? she thought to herself ”Maybe Josey eat meat” she whispered at the male, looking up to his face ”What Josey can eat?” she asked before listening to his question & tilting her head ”Josey understand lots things” she said, puffing her chest out slightly ”Big Fluffy ask any and Josey understand it and tell him”
Thorn wondered if the fawn really could eat meat, maybe she can try a mouse or something, " Want me to get you some meat to try?" . He chuckled at the fawns words about her knowing a lot, then he stopped abruptly...he was having fun with this fawn. Thorn never imagined that he would spend time with a fawn and actually have a good time...but fawns still taste better than they sound with their annoying 'bleeping'. Thorn shook his head, he knows Josephine too well now, he can't think about things such as eating her.
”Yes…” she said, gathering to her hooves. It was still hard for her but she was finally beginning to not fall on her face as often ”Big Fluffy get Josey meat” she demanded, her hazel eyes looking into his gaze & waiting for her meal.
The stag was slightly surprised at the tiny fawns demand. He stood and stretched whilst thinking of the nearest place to find food. Didn't take long before his eyes drifted onto a rabbit hole that wasn't far away. " You can come with me to see how I catch the food if you want, or you can stay here and wait patiently for me to return" .
"All right, I'll be back shortly" . Thorn didn't blame the fawn for wanting to stay, he was sure that Jo wouldn't like seeing something die. The stag trotted over to the rabbit hole and sniffed the entrance. He was in luck, the scent of rabbit was strong meaning that they were deep in the burrow. Without thinking any further Thorn began to dig frantically into the ground, dragging up roots and stones. Then a rabbit dashed out. He turned swiftly and snapped his jaws around it tightly before hearing a crunch. When the rabbit became limp, Thorn trotted back over to the fawn and dropped the rabbit onto the floor in front of her.
She watched as he left, heading to a hole in the ground. She had found some the same when finding shelter from the weather or to sleep. A short time later the male returned & she could faintly make out something in his mouth. Her eyes grew wide & her mouth hung open as he dropped the dead bunny in front of her ”What Josey do with this?” she asked, looking up at him with confusion on her face ”Josey eat this bunny?” she asked again before moving slowly to look at it closely. But there was so much fur… no meat she thought to herself. She touched it gently with her hoof before quickly moving it back… she wanted to make sure it wasn’t going to jump at her face. She saw no movement so she moved even closer & lent down, sniffing it & then opening her mouth. Fur… that’s all she had in her mouth ”Josey can’t eat this” she said looking up at the tall male with a bit of an annoyance on her face & a small stamp of her tiny hoof ”Is full of fur… it yuck” she said, shaking her head.
The stag chuckled at the fawns dislike towards the fur. He rolled the rabbit over and started nibbling at the fur until he made an opening large enough to start ripping out pieces of flesh for the fawn to eat. Thorn wondered if the sight of blood was okay for the fawn, but he kept going, if she could eat this it would be a lot better than the grass and there would be less stomach problems if she ate small amounts at a time.
"Guess I can't do anything to him when your around then". The stag glanced over in Kurami's direction, then back to the doe. He ruffled his pelt and began to think of a place where he could rest and think of a new plan to get to his brother.
She back down and smirked "When im not around? How stupid do you think I am?" she narrowed her eyes glaring him down. "Ok, you know what TwoTail.. if he is such a problem.. follow me, why don't we go speak to him.. hmm?" her voice deepened and her eyes shifted red again she began to shift angery.. "Come TwoTail.." her well carved muscles reavled and she double the size.
Shock was poured out all across the fawns face as she witnessed the horrendous sight but she stood through it because this could perhaps be the cure for her upset stomach. She looked up to him, her hazel eyes bright & wide as she looked back to the fresh meat on the ground. Closing her eyes she picked it up in her mouth & tried her hardest to chew it. Unbeknownst to her she didn’t have the proper teeth to chew through the tough flesh so she resorted to swallowing it whole. It hit her fast & hard. Her eyes widened even more & she ran to a nearby bush before throwing up. She already didn’t have much food in her stomach so this was going to make it worse. Wiping her muzzle on the bush she slowly walked back to Thorn ”Don’t think Josey supposed to eat that” she whispered. Her head hanging low ”Josey going to go sleep now. Thank you Big Fluffy” she whispered again before walking over to nuzzle him gently & walking off to find a nice warm place to sleep & ease her now very empty stomach.

The small fawn was walking through the forest & heading to the pond. It was a nice day, the snow had stopped falling for the time being & it wasn’t as cold as usual. She was grateful that she had grown some, it was hard for her to notice herself but she could when she would dance or run. Her legs seemed much stronger & she rarely fell over like she used to. Nearing the pond her small hazel eyes spotted the large body she had once called Big Fluffy. He would always be Big Fluffy in her heart but she thought she should respect him enough to call him by his proper name. Trotting down she put a small smile on her as she neared the large male & stopped in front of him. ”Hi” she said giving him a sniff before retreating back a little & trying to look up into his tallness ”How are you?” She thought it best to be polite first before asking his proper name. I wonder if he’ll know it’s me
