Species: Troll *In the forest looks like a fairly regular TEF-style deer sphinx, long neck and long limbs. Changed to being slightly furred, slit pupils and a long, thick tail.	Gender: She/her pronouns *Trolls only have one sex, and no concept of gender. Verve is neither male or female, and can both carry and sire offspring. Used to be female in the forest, and goes by she/her pronouns. Not offended if you use male pronouns tho.
Age: Mature adult, 190+ years	Orientation: Monogamous, pansexual *Tends to be monogamous out of ease; she's very busy, besides one partner who has the time?? Sexuality is fluid but tends to prefer those with more submissive qualities. Flings are a seperate thing.

Personality

A lot has changed, and Verve now has to re-adjust to her memories as a deer, and her life as a troll. As a troll she's lived for longer, so this will remain her dominant personality. And it isn't that much different, but here, she had a chance to blossom. That insecure, touch-fearing jealous doe is no more. Get ready for:
Headstrong, brash, dominant, unapologetically flirty, caring, protective, and many more elements.

Taught to care for herself, to put herself first; not super good at this, and can easily sacrifice herself to her work. Has been getting better at this. Verve values independence and individuality, and looks down on those who make themselves entirely dependent on others. Unless they're kids, of course.

Values fun and pleasure, of others as much as herself. Doesn't understand it when others deny themselves fun instead of communicating their needs. Communication is highly important, and in Verve's eyes the solution to most conflict. Of course, still a troll, and a tension-releasing brawl is also pretty effective.

Appearance

Tall, lanky, and a little fluffier than what she used to be, Verve has gotten a bit more proportional. Less lean, more muscle, and a neck that doesn't break when you so much as look at it. Her pelt is made up of shades of brown, sclera black, irisses still a fierce yellow. The troll sports a long, very flexible tail, with a large tuft of fur on the end.

Verve still enjoys dressing up, wearing various masks but most often the large golden skull. It is a family piece, something she is very proud of and very careful with. She also enjoys gold paints, capes, her spider necklace, and various kinds of jewelry and piercings.

The silver buck felt like he

The silver buck felt like he had to say 'thank you', like he had to say something to anyone who was closest. He never realised the creature had come charging towards the group until he was too late to react. Though he had no defence of his own, the only option would have been to run and hope the fawns would follow, but calling them both to him seemed to fail in the brief chaos. So instead they had resorted to staying put, hoping the creature would not return. ”Th...Thank you. I’m sorry I couldn’t get the little ones away, but thank you for being there” . He didn’t know if it was the right thing to say or to the right deer, but he had to say something.

((Because we were all basically having freezing issues in the forest and couldn’t get our characters away or even know for sure where Kaars was when he was close to them ;n;))

"Well, that was interesting," the bakemono exclaimed upon returning. Her fur ruffled a bit, the feathers upon her rump fully raised before she shook, settling everything. She smiled sheepishly toward the tall one before her and chuckled despite her simple injuries.

(Sorry for the late response, standard afk time for me <3 It’s alright! I had to run around with two characters, I’m pretty sure I missed like 50% of what happened XDD)

She had settled down near the group of children and adults she was fairly unfamiliar with, besides some earlier playtime. She had worried plenty though, had tried her best to keep the beast ridden by her sister off. It took a while before her breathing calmed, her alertness slowly fading to a normal level. She turned to look at the buck, flashing him a smile. “You did fine. I’m sorry this happened, you’re not hurt right are you?” The tall doe asked with obvious concern. She had checked everyone over before, but hadn’t realized she had gotten hurt herself until she calmed down.

She smiled towards the other doe, slightly painfully so. ”I suppose one could call it that.” The other looked well ruffled too. It made Verve glance at her own decorations. Seemed she had lost pretty much all of her hangers from her antlers. Definitely wasn’t made to fight. ”I bet my paint is smudged. What a day.”

He was somewhat relieved by her words but he still felt as though he could have done a lot more to protect the young ones. Still, aside from being shaken up, both him and the fawns were okay. ”We’re alright” he said as he nodded with a small smile ”Just a little shaken up is all”. He turned to double check on the fawns before settling down beside them both, hoping that they weren't too scared after what had just happened. He was concerned for the larger female however and the smaller female who had returned looking a bit rough. And once again he felt hopeless, not knowing any ways to heal or treat wounds. ”Are you going to be okay?” he asked, looking at the two females to indicate the question was aimed at both of them.

”Good.” She replied with a nod, smiling at the children as well. It was odd how quickly the peace had been disturbed. She had been pretty happy to play with her siblings and these children as they came by, it was going to be a nice day. Until it wasn’t anymore.
”Yeah, I’ll be fine. Hurt my leg a little, nothing broken so will just need to rest it.” Or so she figured. She’d likely ask Herla later. ”It was mostly a scare. Not really an every day happening, huh?” She kept up the smile. Even boiling inside. ”I should go wash up, cool this leg. I’m sorry this all went down. Hopefully next time you visit it won’t be such a chaotic mess.” She admitted as she got up. She did hope they’d come back sometime. But definitely didn’t blame them if they had been put off from that idea.

For a moment she seemed

For a moment she seemed suprise herself, glancing upwards to try and see the tines that usually poked forward. She let out a small snicker at her own response. "I uh, I lose them once a year. Like stags do. They grow back. They're embarassing stumps right now." Verve explained as she wriggled to get the little fabric headwrap she had taken on off to show the base of where her antlers grow. "They'll be back, possibly bigger. I collect them every year too. Gave them to my sister this time." She nodded towards the blue figure sleeping next to her. "Everyone wants em. I'm kind of glad to be rid of them once in a while. Gives me the chance to wear different things." Verve smiled. Even though she had been a little lazy on the headdresses as of late.

She trailed off, stopping speaking as another fawn tore past her at approximately a billion miles per hour. "What is today?" La asked after the pause. "Is it some holiday, or...?"

"Aw thank you!" She replied with a smile towards the other. "They're always useful, sometimes as a material too. It's a lot of work, but antler-beads are pretty nice."

Verve had to laugh loudly at the kid. She was fairly tired from the day or she'd likely be running with it. "Today?" The tall doe repeated, her head turning to La again after glancing over the group around them. The two brutes keeping an eye on the group and it's approachers. "It's the rut. It's kind of a get-together season. Some deer look for partners, others for new friends. Everyone becomes a bit easier to approach basically. For some it's akin to mating season. I take no interest there." But some definitly did, and that was their way of doing it. It was hard to explain the season without that aspect. "Those big guys-" she said with a nod towards Draven and Kato -"They protect the group, or they think they do. Whatever works for them." She smirked.
