PGCL 25 Synthetic Monofilament Suture
Features: Excellent holding strength. Smooth tissue passage has excellent handling, exceptional suppleness, and good knot security. Non-wicking helps prevent bacterial migration along suture line. PGCL synthetic absorbable monofilament suture meets all requirements established by the United States Pharmacopoeia (U.S.P.), except for diameter. For use with taper point needle NP-1 10.5 mm 3/8 circle. Usages: Plastic surgery Indications: PGCL synthetic absorbable monofilament sutures are indicated for use in soft tissue approximation and/or ligation. Not for use in cardiovascular or neurological surgery, microsurgery, or ophthalmic surgery. Actions: PGCL synthetic absorbable monofilament suture edicts a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. Progressive loss of tensile strength and eventual absorptions of PGCL synthetic absorbable monofilament suture occurs by means of hydrolysis. Tensile Strength: Implantation studies in animal indicate that PGCL suture retains approximately 70% to 80% of its original tensile strength at 7 days post implantation and approximately 40% of its original tensile strength at 14 days post implantation.

PLEASE DON'T cast pelt spells on my minis, seriously, it will make me cry. I can't just sneeze it off again. It's a huge process to get my set back every time this happens, so just don't.

Sorry I had to bail on everybody right in the middle of a nice juicy dramatic moment, last night. Stupid dizzyness! Thanks again for all the wonderful company.
I am greatly enjoying MSN, though it does tend to aggravate my headaches so please don't be offended if I need to back out of chats when I get overwhelmed. Headaches are one of the reasons I've avoided instant messengers in the past, but I love having the chance to talk with everyone so I'll suffer through.
I accept ALL invites from TEF peoples so please feel free to add me, I won't bite!
I have been ridiculously
Well apparently I have “benign paroxysmal positional vertigo” or BPPV, which in many cases is chronic and life long. I’ve had episodes before.
So yay, for chronic, debilitating conditions, that can never be completely resolved and will come back again and again to eff up your life. Yippee, skippy. Fan-flippin-tastic. >.<
Maybe I’ll loose some weight though? That would be a plus. Instant crash diet. I truly have no desire to eat anything at all.
Here’s the Mayo Clinic’s Article on the condition:

We are having construction done on our bathroom. Last night, I got up in my dizziness to use it. Not pretty. Not pretty at all. Then I had a crazy dream that I was in love with Wilson from “House M.D.” I can honestly say I have never fan-girled him before so I have no idea where that one came from. Then I dreamt I was swimming down the Mississippi River trying to get to New Orleans. Yeah, brain. You are weird. At least these bizarre dreams mean I was actually sleeping. Which I needed. So yay for that!
This song has been stuck in
This song has been stuck in my brain all night, cracks me up so bad. Karate Kid, ROTFL.

Get to work. First up? A euthanasia. And if that's not bad enough, the syringe malfunctions and both me and my assistant get a face full of euthanasia solution. It goes in our eyes and mouth. Frantic decontamination ensues.
Proceed with surgery. THAT goes smoothly.
Now taking a break on a heating pad. It's going to be a long day!
Two screaming children.
I wanted to be a vet. But I
I admire you for being able to do all of the things you do.
Aww, thanks Kaoori. Math was
Math was always a struggle for me as well when in school, and it tends to be something that holds alot of people back. My advice to young people is to work hard on the math, make it your job to beat it. So it doesn't beat you. Fortunatly science was something I enjoyed at least.
I've been working in this profession since I was 18 years old (I'm 34 now), and always knew it was what I was going to do. What ever I had to do to make it happen I did. There were lots of struggles.
Alot of people think that Euthanasia must be the hardest part of the job. I don't think of it that way, it's a chance for me help people in their time of need and relieve the suffering of an animal so they don't have to have pain anymore.
Truly the most difficult part of the job when it's all said and done is dealing with people. My entire day is talking with people, every animal has a human attached to it. That's the person you have to go through in order to accomplish anything with the pet. It's about educationing and being an advocate for the needs of the pet. I deal all day with people who are upset and angry over things like money, unfortunatly everything has a cost and that's what gives me a headache at the end of the day.
The nom nom song. Can't get
Can't get enough of that!
