This node won't be used again in the future, but I might keep it for old time's sake. There's a lot of history here - good and bad, and I think it's worth holding onto.

So thank God actually. I'm gonna do some minor edits to my journal, I posted that while those two were still talking it over so it's my fault for jumping to conclusions. Sorry.. it's a topic that hit close to home, even if it's just a game, and I went into RAEG!mode for a little there lD;

Crucio was fuming, absolutely fuming; the usually very stable reaper shook like a leaf in the wind, ears twitching and jerking just as furiously, listening intently for that bastard that had caused his current state of distress. His breaths were far apart, and came out in sharp but powerful huffs, front hooves kneading anxiously at the ground as he shifted. At the sound of a chirp, the stag's head snapped around, wild, burning eyes fixing on the avian-like doe. That unearthly glare fixed on her for a few short moments, blazing away, and then dwindled down to embers as his features softened. No.. this wasn't her fault, this wasn't her doing and there was no way to eye her with such cruelty.
Drawing in a deep breath, Death exhaled once again, beyond shaken by this point in time. Regardless, when his eyes eased open again, they were as soft and impartial as he was capable of displaying right now.
"... Yes? What is it?" he managed, a bit sharper sounding than he would have intended, but still in the deep, slightly rough tone that was characterized to his appearance. He tipped his muzzle down slightly, hiding behind the dark bangs that grew thickly over his face. There was no need to reject her, but he couldn't help it. He was in even less of a social mood than usual.
The bird-doe could see now
By now, Crucio may have realized that this deer was close to Hototo, for she bore the fallow's scent upon her own. Maybe that would relax the stag slightly and make her less strange to him.
Curiously, the sapphire doe picked up his alert stance, watching for something she didn't know of. If she saw something that may be important to the stag, she'd point it out to him.

"... Heh.. I'd ask you if you were born mute or if something happened, but I guess that'd be pointless. Not like you can tell me." Death frowned lightly, laying his ears back again. "For the sake of knowing it since you took the time to approach me, my name is Crucio. I don't know what you'd want me to call you. I understand crows only, I don't.. recognize your chirps real well, sorry." That knowledge came from being mated to one. Anything else was lost on him.
( Haha xD that's fine, she's sweet. <3 I figure that was your deer he kinda taunted earlier? So, he was just so damn frustrated, it wasn't at her. I promise. <3 )
The doe smiled softly and
He could understand crows? Suddenly, her dark blue face lit up. Mockingbird could understand any avian. With a tilt of the head, she croaked, "Ah, how lucky! I don't have to play charades with you then, do I?" Mockingbird glanced back at a stag walking towards the Ruins, but it turned out he was just passing through.
"Well, good. If you don't mind me asking..." she crowed, "What has you so upset, Crucio?"
(No, I haven't been in-forest the past few days. :])
"... I suppose not," Crucio
"A number of things I feel uncomfortable talking about even with my closest family. In short, at the risk of coming across as rash.. none of your business. I'm sorry." The black stag huffed, flicking his ears back in a flustered manner. Quickly enough, he'd turned his back to Mockingbird, casting a longing stare over at dear Hoshiko's grave. How flustered Kaoori had seemed when she showed up to a crowd, even with good intentions.
He understood how she could act in such a manner. She had every right to be upset. But something about her grief put the Reaper on edge, and unsettled him in two many ways for him to comprehend.

I won't get into detail since
All in all we had.. some difficulties and we split.
I know Crucio and Tandem are IC, characters, but being much like a persona for me as Cru is I will be honest in saying that I, as a player, feel I will be unable to disregard the bias I hold against Tandem's player when Tandem is around. I feel it's just better to have them split for the sake of in-forest interaction as well due to the personal nature of these circumstances.
The rest of my characters also paired / planned to paired with her own are either inactive or can take a change of course. Anything from this point on, as it was and should be, is entirely in-character.
Due to my connection with Kirness personally, yes, there were times that we as a couple chose to make a pair such as Crucio and Tandem who were together from day one. However, these are few and far apart. Aside from this, I never plan to have my characters "paired" with.. anyone really. It's just one of those "if it happens it happens, if not, then it doesn't" sort of things. My in-forest interaction isn't driven by "OHEMGEE MUST FIEND M8 N HAV FAWNZ RITENOW" LOL. And I would slap myself if it was.
I just think that Crucio and Tandem need to be made an exception in this case. I can't go on knowing how similar these two characters are to the people who rp them.
So, until further notice, Crucio is single and (unless miss/mister wonderful shows up and little heavenly music plays) will stay single.

It would be difficult, you're right. I think it's better for the players and the characters alike, and those who know them on both sides to seperate them officially. Where things go from here.. we'll see.
