Hi,

Feels good to have the community back online!
Well, that took a lot longer than I wanted it to. :/ It was much more difficult than I had hoped to upgrade things and iron out bugs and I know its probably still not exactly perfect. So, I want your feedback (leave a comment here.) Let me know if something doesn't work the way it used to (if you want it back.) Let me know If you'd still like something to change, I will let you know if it's possible. I will still be testing some things and tweaking once you all start coming back and using the site... It's easier to see how it's working when there is some activity.

NEW THINGS

You can now assign your blog entries to a category the same way you've been doing for Pictures. It is not required but it will make it easier for people looking for your deer bio or for your creative writing if you add it to a category.

post URLS are now by node/# and not the same as the title of your entry. This way you can edit the title and the url will not change. None of your previous posts urls should have been effected by this.

you can use more HTML tags now for formatting. I added IMG, blockquote, h1-h4, i, b, br, p, tt, pre and strike... more info here. If you don't know what i am talking about, you don't need it

I put in a hard coded limit of 1024 pixels across for images. Anything wider than that will be scaled down. And I hope that you will try to limit the size of your images as sometimes they get really huge and that is not so nice for browsing around. (And you can always put in a link to a larger version.)

I would like to implement some sort of personal tagging system, so you can organize your entries for yourself also, but that is a bit more complicated and will have to be for the next time I do some crazy upgrade adventure >}

I am also thinking we should have a selection of header images, maybe the site's color and theme should change seasonally. Maybe at the Equinox and Solstice... or something. Anyway, hope you guys like the "new" site!

For example, this looks at the bottom like this or this to me. It seems like every other page seems to "multiple" the bottoms too when Lexfirehind wrote a comment there. 8o

I would like to add in that

I would like to add in that it would be convenient to have a "view all" kind of selection for the blogs and pictures. Perhaps for the view-all-blogs to have them listed by title only (such as the way Recent Posts is organized). I think this would make browsing a bit smoother for the people that like to see everything.

Holy crap Flyra! what's going on there? I guess this happens because discussions are "threaded." Meaning people are hitting 'reply' and it is indenting the replys... at least i think thats what it is. Will find a solution.

I just seemto be having on error and I think it's something to do with my updates blog itself.
Whenever I updates it and catagorise it into the 'Biography' section, it won't appear there. It will update yes, but it won't show.
I've very confused and I infact had a problem before with my last update blog, not letting me re-update it. But that's gone now. 8|

hey Aureia, I seem to have a problem with icons. it will only let me upload icons from a certain folder. when I tried a different icon, it gave me this...

The selected file /tmp/beatles327.png could not be copied.
Failed to upload the picture image; the pictures2 directory doesn't exist or is not writable.

it doesn't do this to my other folder xD is it my files?

I noticed that stuff gets bumped when someone just comments on it, which is a bit annoying and makes it hard to find the stuff that's actually new. ^^; That seems to only be in the "recent posts," though.

The main reason I was asking was because I wished to change my avatar, but when I go to save it complains I don't have a valid email address entered. It just has my name entered in the email address bar. (possibly as a means of encryption?)

hey Custard, i don't think it was a bug as such. it was just that the post was originally made so long ago and its post time didn't update. essentially it meant that while it was in the Biography section it was very far back in the chronological list. Anyway all i did was change the date and there it is.

When entering in a website/homepage it says I have entered in an invalid address.
All I'm putting in is the link to my myspace page.

I APPSOLUTELY LOVE THIS

I APPSOLUTELY *LOVE* THIS GAME! i like how you put affort on this game and the graphics, you cant see much "greatness" to graphics in games like this, i also starting to play one of your other games like ~The Path~ I adore Rose!

and the last "unknown" character! i love how you guys made it to be like ~little red riding hood~ and also one character is actually in one of the hoods. its pretty neat:) i enjoy the games you, Auriea and Michael:) hope you can make more;)
