A blend of three, his origins are clear when he stands among his relatives. A tawny base is blanketed by a deeper red and offset by brighter shades around his throat and undercarriage. His fawn stripes have vanished; the only ones remaining lie around his withers. Jade green eyes are vibrant with life and bright with intelligence, accented by near-white teardrop markings which spread across the bridge of his nose. His legs are no longer those of a spindly fawn, and carry him well - though his build still has some filling out to do. The hybrid antler-horns atop his head have completed their first twist and, as he progresses in his third year in the Forest, work through the second turn. They stand at nearly 3/4 their fully mature height, and the row of fuzz down his neck has fledged into a proper mane. A cloth cord holds strings of hessonite garnet beads and a charm of the same material between his horns. The charm is a stylized Sanskrit aumkara (Click for information
), fashioned into the likeness of an elephant and crescent moon. He takes pride in this trinket and it is guarded with great care.
Although Rohit is quick to leap into play, quiet moments hint at a more solemn nature beneath. He is more often seen than heard and can be caught carefully observing those around him when he is not immediately involved.
