Ive got a few issues since the install, namely lagging. When anyone performs an action in game - laughing, taunting, and so on - the frame rate drops to 2-5fps and causes freezing.
I run multiple monitors and sometimes drag my game windows to the different monitors for various reasons, i cant do that anymore as it causes the game to crash.
Lastly, occasionally when i start the game the window will 'flash' and 'flicker' like mad, the only way to fix it is to close the window and reload the game. :/
Other than that it works just fine, and just an FYI a lot of these issues might have more to do with 10 and my video card rather than with the game and 10, but i haven't really tested this theory with my other games, and i should point out that none of these issues have stopped me from enjoying the forest. so -shrug-
Its possibly more the video card then the windows program, then again never know. Welps your choice in the matter now Fly. As i said not a likely change but never know.
I probably wont worry so much over this stuff, as is my current computer has issues with this game enough. Though im happy it works all the same. Oh i missed this game for the 2 years my older pc broke! -cuddles game-

Is the screenshot folder still at the same place with win10 as it was with win 7 ?
Do i see the pictures i make right away or is there a manipulation to make before ?
Did you make a clean install or did you do it over the old installation of windows ?
I was going to post something about this but I did not need to! xD The thing about Windows 10 I was already told that many people are having issues with Windows 10 like glitches and other major issues. I am sure over time as they release more updates and fix things up it will be as stable as Windows 8. I am very afraid the more newer things come out the less the game will want to work correctly... A+M will soon or later need to fine tune the game for newer versions of Windows and get better compatibility, also to get rid of that 20 FPS lock because its very lame even with strong computers the game refuses to run faster!
I think I will stay with my new Windows 8 for awhile until it comes to the point when I know 10 is faster, better, and runs everything that I need to run. If it still works for you guys you are lucky, but soon or later I still feel something won't work right anymore...

It makes sense to stay with Windows 8 because its more up to date then 10 would be. Newer things always seem 'rushed' and end up lagging or having issues. So im not surprised. I suppose i should of said the chances of it working is a 10% rather then 90% hm?
It sure does not go higher though, I never heard of TEF running at a perfect 60 FPS. Im pretty sure it has to do of the coding and settings of the game. I mean its not a very graphic intensive game I was able to run it long ago on my old laptop with 17 FPS all online players shown. The game mostly slows down once players are displayed in the map, when you are offline the game is much faster.
Well a long while back i managed to get the FPS at 50 though, but that was about 2 years ago and with a better laptop then this.. I dont know if they did something differnt to the game or not, but it ran pretty well back those 2 years.. Or maybe my computer was just REALLY good?
WHEW nice setup, my internet is very fast but of course I do not have an ultra gaming pc. I really thought when I was going to get this the game would run a lot better, it does but not what I thought. Its the connection that slows it down just about.
They already have problems with their server , we are donating to keep it up all month ...it costs 130 Euros every month .
I doubt they can fix this on the old server .
We can't afford to remake the game.

For the problems with the game flickering and so on , it is related to win 10 loading old drivers for the graphic card by itself .
You will have to disable this in a menu point in windows .
Some people say they have no problems to play .
But i had to remove win 10 and get to win 7 again because of many issues !!
I won't install win10 again on my laptop .
Maybe a new pc win 10 could be Ok but not mine lol .

updated to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 'bout a week ago, in the second phase of people to get the update.
I've encountered no real problems with it so far, though the initial installation was a little buggy (Required three forced restarts before it decided to give me my toolbar and start menu back)
but it has been running beautifully for all my art programs and whatnot since then, and my computer hasn't blown up yet so I assume all is good.
Haven't tried TEF yet though, but I'll update people when I do if anyone's interested? idk
Yes. It works fine. A bit harder to make the deer fly though I have a new xbox controller so may just be me. Use to do it with a joy stick and hang around the church. I installed around December. Now your other programs besides the Endless Forest it varies. It takes some time to find files so put your files in Google Drive before installing.
I have the same problems as Sen since my computer force updated. The drop in FPS when performing actions and witnessing actions is significantly lessened by zooming out as far as possible and lowering my nature detail until it's just trees and ground. Doesn't exactly make the game more fun, though.
