So since I've installed the Forest on my newest laptop, I've noticed a consistent issue with the forest's settings. Basically, I can't change them. Upon hitting 'done' or quitting and returning to the forest, everything goes back to the way it was. On top of that, logged in characters don't remain logged in, and I need to manually log them in and reset their set each time I enter the forest. Since the spelldata I put into the forest was skull mask, zombie antlers, and dotd pelt, that's what I enter the forest with apparently with each character, even after sneezing layers off. Also can't get the forest to switch to window mode, which is a problem.

Anyone have a solution to this? If so, I'd really appreciate it!

I hate to ask, but after trying the forest again after switching computers and upgrading to windows 10, I'm having a surprisingly frustrating time with hotkeys. Is there any way to either disable the functions so the F keys are freely usable without holding fn? I have to apparently reset my hotkeys every time I log in, and if I make the mistake of not holding fn, instant crash. :/ Any ideas?

I acknowledge that I've been a bit inactive lately, mainly due to life taking over and not feeling too compelled to be around, but after randomly signing in today I've noticed something.

Yep. Me again.
I've been really continuing to struggle with depression this past year, and have been dealing with virtually chronic thoughts about suicide and general feelings of sadness and hopelessness. I still occasionally go back here and re-read the blog from a year ago where so many of you wonderful people tried to offer encouragement. That, along with a generous amount of Doctor Who, Pokémon, and Dragon Age have been keeping me held together enough to make it through another year.
Christmas is particularly hard for someone like me to get through though. Being a time where people are supposed to be happy and crap, I find myself extra drained and bitter. Basically I'm scrooge, even though I try to give gifts and make others happy.

With it being Christmas Eve now, I find myself wanting to crawl back in bed so I can forget the holiday.

It'd mean a lot to me if some of you out there could do me the favor of just sticking some positive thoughts and messages here. Not necessarily in the name of encouraging, but more so in the name of having positive and happy things to focus the mind on to help muscle through this time of the year.

I had to replace my old hard drive, and as a result lost most of my spelldata, having only last saved a set to flash drive in 2010. I still have my skull mask, DOTD pelt and Zombie antlers, but need some spellspam to get the Fan antlers. I'm having a hard time finding a working download of Slugg's spell saver, so I'm only going to aim for fixing the set for the deer I have in forest currently. (Aka Darkweaver)

So if anyone can help me get the fan antlers, that'd be awesome. <3

In about 2 weeks I'll have been on TEF for six years now.

Man, I really AM an old fart here. XD;

My derps, (mostly Darkweaver) and I may not be nearly as active here as we used to be, but we still check in semi frequently. Y'all lovely.
Here's to hoping I'll be more active in time to maybe do something to commemorate the six year mile stone. XD;

I keep checking in here every day, sometimes several times a day and never post anymore.
I don't go into forest anymore.
I don't even feel like I have friends or anyone who want to communicate here anymore.

Maybe it's an old habit, but I still keep stopping by, looking through my activity tracks, and disappearing again. I feel kind of forgotten, and even a little left out. There's really not been much of any call for me to stay either.
Oddly, I feel the same about my life at the moment and my job. Just unwanted and left out. It's all these little things piling up, and I keep noticing things... perks and cliques that form around me while I'm just continuing as always to do the best I can with what I do. I don't have energy when I get home to do much interacting except with the veeeeery select few who reach out to talk to me. (Ok, literally one person these days. One.)

I don't know if it's a loss of interest on my behalf or on everyone else's. I keep wanting to do art, RPs, stories, and all else I used to do, but I can't seem to start.
I don't get it.

I might have to just give up and say goodbye to the forest and community. This might be it.
