Something for Wudiin

If anyone would be interested, Twinnie would really like to make a dance line around the edge of the pond in the shape of a crescent moon.

If you're interested, let me know and maybe we can hook up and gather deer together and dance a little to celebrate a noble life.

--Forest Life-->

Twinnie is a vivacious young deer brimming with energy and life. Her joys and sorrows revolve around life in the forest and those who inhabit it. While as a fawn she would approach new faces with a tough front to show she was a force to be reckoned, she soon learned that as an adult, this isn't received very well. Now she greets others by raising her hooves and nodding. Though, fearing a fight, she often is quick to bow afterward. As Twinnie loves dancing, she will often try to initiate a short little dance, her way of saying that she thinks you're a-okay and will be happy to spend time in your company. If she really liked your deer, she may rub up against him or her. Twinnie can rarely resist the urge to join in dancing, though she doesn't seem as zealous about it as she was as a fawn.

June 21st Photo Journal

When I logged back in this morning all my pelts and masks and antlers had gone AWOL, so a couple of deer helped Twinnie recover those.

And help her find her 'true calling' as far as sets go. She's always loved this scaly pelt.

After wards she pranced around with some fawns, not quite out of the fawn-mindset herself, having only 'grown up' a few hours ago.

This fawn really kept Twinnie company, please identify yourself! Twinnie really enjoyed your company this morning. Smiling

Finally Twinnie spotted a familiar picto and went to see if this elusive deer would spend time with her today. But as usual he/she ran from Twinnie. But this time Twinnie was older, and more grown up and had the attention span to follow them and try to show that she wasn't scary or a threat. This deer hooked her attention like never before and with gusto she went to solve the mystery of the shy-seeming deer.

She followed him/her to a small hillock in the birch forest, where they proceeded to bury themselves in the hill and lay down.

Twinnie decided to keep them company and maybe they would trust her a little. However, she ended up falling asleep while waiting, and this strange deer was gone by the time she woke up. But their picto was not.

Eventually this deer's companion let Twinnie know not to follow, and seemed to apologize in their own way. Twinnie tried to express her innocent curiosity and desire to get to know this enigma of a deer.

Eventually she decided that her approach would only drive the deer away, and not wanting to ruin the fun for him/her and his/her companion, she lay down.

Twinnie is a vivacious young deer brimming with energy and life. Her joys and sorrows revolve around life in the forest and those who inhabit it. Twinnie will approach new adult deer with a tough act, it's her way of earning her place and showing that she is not one to be underestimated despite her stature. If her hooves come up and her head goes down when you first meet her, just know its her way of initiating you into her presence, like a Twinnified handshake. Once she feels she made her point she will often engage in a short dance, letting you know that you're a-okay in her books. If she really liked your deer, she may rub up against him or her. Though, if any deer starts dancing before she can preform her ritual show of toughness, it's unlikely she'll be able to resist the urge to move her hooves to the beat!

June 12th Photo Journal

Twinnie had a great day today and met some great deer-folk who she hopes to keep close from now on. Today was a day of fun and adventures.
I suppose the best way to start is from the beginning.

She was romping around happily, it seems the fog is letting up, and she came across this stoic fellow.

Eventually she deemed him/her boring and continued on her way, trying not to get her fur in a ruffle from this strange deer who did not join her in her dancing.

She spent the next while chasing pictograms and trying to find someone interesting to play with. Truly it is about time she make some fast friends in the Forest. She saw a small gathering of pictos around the ruins, and so she headed over there.

There was good times, and Twinnie adored this doe she later found out to be called Nevi.
There was no answer from the dozing buck for awhile, but good times were had at his expense.

Both Nevi and Twinnie laughed and danced, but things could not remain as they were and soon enough...

She was rather harsh with this new comer, but eventually things quieted down, despite Twinnie's indignant hoof flailing when he/she didn't join in with the dancing.

Eventually the sleepy buck awoke and more fun times could be had. Spell casting and sneezing. Twinnie felt sort of bad that the deer probably lost or misplaced his 'set', but couldn't help but giggle at the collective antics of the group.

The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years

Your body starts to shiver

The evil of the thriller

June 11th Photo Journal

This morning Twinnie found some time to gallop around the Forest, but there was something very different this morning...

A cold fog had settled across the land and cast the distances in a ghostly white. Bats danced around tree tops and there was a chill dampness that seemed to touch her very bones. Her bold and spunky attitude seemed to wilt in the eerie atmosphere, and she found herself feeling very vulnerable and alone.

And the Endless Forest seemed truly endless, and Twinnie felt very small indeed. Never before has she been so aware of her size and stature and how young and naive she was.

Pooling her spirits and focusing on a goal, she takes off in search of companionship and perhaps, subconsciously, some comfort from the cold. Despite the forest feeling so empty, Twinnie had the luck of coming across an adult deer, however, despite her roars and attempts to make him stay, they continued to run and shake their head at her. She felt very, very alone.

Pausing, she shivered awhile, glancing around, before heading back to the pond, which seemed to be a popular spot. By the Twin God statues, the fog seemed thinner and the light seemed brighter. She happened across a deer, and Twinnie found herself flooded with relief. She mustered a meek hoof-flail before shivering again. Yes, her spunky attitude had truly wilted in this cold, lonely weather.

May 30th Photo Journal

It's the morning again, and Twinnie takes to the Endless Forest, her spirits alight and eyes ablaze with adventure! The roar of deer folk fills her ears and causes her heart to leap excitedly just as she, herself, leaps into a gallop to investigate. The spunky fawn comes across a large white buck with antlers as red as the sunset. Her tail flutters in anticipation as they exchange bows, and the buck takes off into the forest. Twinnie is not long to follow. Their hoofs kick up bracken and moss as they go deeper. Happening upon a fawn, they pause, and Twinnie takes the time to make her customary stand. Her hooves are up and head is down and she's challenging. She's showing the buck what she's got, paying little to no attention to the other fawn, they don't interest her as much as the white adult before her.

But as usual for the spunky fawn, their kicks and stomps soon subside for a short dance, alas, the day has truly begun. After some dancing, laughing and general merry-making the buck, and potential new-found-friend takes his leave, curling up to fall asleep for a time.

Twinnie turns her attentions to a red adult who happens upon the two fawns. A spell or two cast around and the red jumps straight to dancing. Of coarse Twinnie can't refuse, not even to be the tough little trouble causer that she is, and she joins in.

Of coarse, things don't last forever, and soon Twinnie finds herself continuing on. Though it seems a certain fawn has found her (again?), and it's time to dance, but not before showing just how tough she is!

May 26 Photo Journal

It's May 26, a day full of exciting discoveries for Twinnie. And consequently, plenty of screenshots!
So, gallivanting about and tracking down interesting Pictograms, Twinnie happens upon the pond in her search, and a rather vibrant peacock-flavored deer.

As is custom, Twinnie put up a tough front before succumbing to the urge to dance, and so brought her skills in rhythm to the table. After bidding the new face farewell she continued into the birch forest, and happened upon something very peculiar!

A bird hovering above her head with a glowing symbol... She bowed to the strange thing before it rapidly changed from bird to frog to bat and then to this creature. A miniature deer. However, before any fun, or dancing, could be had, the deer went to sleep. Maybe next time, Twinnie!

Continuing on her way...

Twinnie happens upon another adult deer, and they were soon joined by another who gleefully cast a spell upon her fawn's pelt, turning it polka-dotted. Laughter and dancing ensued.
A little later, Twinnie leaves the group to wander the forest, soon she post a familiar pictogram, and with excitement and anticipation, she tracks down Light The Sky.

The two greet and soon they're shooting through the forest. It's not long before they happen upon two deer lounging together, and so they stop to greet them. Twinnie gets the impression that Light is already acquainted with at least one of the two... Of coarse, after some customary hoof-flailing, dancing ensues, led by Twinnie herself.

Deer Bio!

Name: Twinnie
Pronunciation: twin-ee
Gender: female
Age: fawn (a few days)

Personality: Rambunctious, spunky, playful. When approaching adult deer, Twinnie will kick and them and act somewhat confrontational, her way of saying 'I'm small but mighty'. She does this somewhat playfully as well and uses it to judge the character of others. Mostly she's pretty friendly after the first few encounters. When approaching fawns, she's much less aggressive, but may still flail her hooves once or twice.
Twinnie has been known to play a copy-cat on occasion, she can also be deceiving by acting aggressive, but really its her way of being playful and affectionate with others. Though it may be noted that she is a bit reckless, and challenging adults may not be the smartest thing. She finds it funny though.
Likes: dancing, running through the forest with others, chasing down interesting pictograms, jumping over stone and logs, playing
Dislikes: running into trees, stopping suddenly and tripping up, floating deer, when spells wear off

Other Interesting Info: Her parents named her as a sort of way of honoring the Twin Gods and blessing her birth at the same time. It seems to suit her copy-cat tendencies, however.

Friends/Family/Enemies:
Fond of Light The Sky, wants to spend more time with her.

Current..:
Thoughts: N/A
Activities: Resting atop the playground rocks.
Aspiration: Getting antlers/growing up
Theme song: Safety Dance by Men Without Hats
We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to
A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind
