I enjoy the combination of texture types in the first one. As well as the entire color scheme.

Now this bird has no weapon,

Now this bird has no weapon, so I'm cheering for it. Fly away, lil marble!

I like how this hound has a story to tell with its accessory, gilded body parts, and scars. I'm thinking concepts of this type (with a visual "hook" or a few in their appearance) are fun for people to buy and develop. And the "hooks" could complement or contradict one another with their symbolism. There could be quite a variety of dynamics going on between the details, hmm.
Speaking as a non-artist, though.

Back to the piece, I'm enjoying the refractions of flesh, besides, it's a fitting background for that clinking chain. Liking the human eye and the gleaming maw.
There is a strange morbid harmony about it, overall.
