His grip was like iron, dragging her closer towards him.
Jane still had closed her eyes...
How could she dare...
How could she...
Bad girl!
Bad girl hit her brother, bad girl made him angry, bad girl made a mistake...
Mistake.
No.
No...
This time it was no mistake.
He had been the one who made the mistake.
Jack was the one.
Once more...
She opened her eyes, stared into his face.
This look... this terrible look...
... she had to stand it.
"Du hast es versprochen... Du... du hast versprochen ihr nichts zu tun... du hast versprochen Martha nichts zu tun!"
('You promised it... you promised not to harm her... you promised not to harm Marha!')
A grin crept on his scarred face.
"Oh...aber... he he he... ich habe ihr doch nichts getan, oder? Habe ich, ja?"
('Oh... but... he he he... I didn't do anything particular to her, did I? Yes?')
He started to laugh...
... a hyterical, chaotic laughter...
... once again stopped by a slap in his face.
A surprised look on his face again, he let go of Jane, stared down at his 'little sister'...
... a fiery, piercing look from her eyes, full of anger, quite unusual for her ever so soft face and eyes...
It didn't happen often, that Jane got enraged like that...
... but he knew what could happen if she was in this state...
Jack made a step backwards, still holding his burning cheek.
Jane started to scream...
"Warum nur, warum?! Warum bist du so grausam, warum lässt du jeden leiden, der dir zu nahe kommt? Du weißt wie furchtbar es ist, du kennst diese Schmerzen besser als jeder andere, und dennoch, dennoch verletzt du wo du nur kannst!"
('Why, just why?! Why are you so cruel, why do you let everyone suffer, who gets too close to xyou? You know how horrible it is, you know his pain, better than anyone, and still, still you hurt wherever and whenever you can!')
A silvery liquit soaked out of the woman's skin at her shoulders, ran down her back and arms, here and there it formed sharp blades, some longer, some shorter...
Rage and excitement made her lose controll about her 'gift'.
"Was du anfässt zerbricht, verbrennt in deinem Hass... Jack.... Jakob... Ich halte das nicht mehr aus, dein Hass... disese Zerstörung, ich ertrage es nicht mehr... so viel Hass, Zerstörung hinter uns, überlebt, so viel leid, so viel Tod, warum nur kannst du nicht loslassen... du wirst daran zerbrechen.... du wirst mich zerbrechen!"
('You break whatever you touch, burn it with your hate... Jack... Jakob... I can't bear this, your hate... this destruction, I can't stand it... so much hate, so much destruction behind us, survived, so much suffer, so much death, why just why can't you let go... you will break through all this... you will break me!')
She let out a sigh. This little speech exhaused her...
The woman put her hands on her cheeks, wet from the tears, wich constantly ran down her face...
He will be angry now...
... oh yes, he will.
He most likely will lose controll now.... things will get worse now...
... he will beat her, scream at her... tear her appart.
She didn't care...
... she didn't.
She could bear the pain of the hits...
... but this pain inside her, this pain he had caused with his actions once more...
... it was unbearable.
The only way of getting rid of it was screaming at him... letting it free...
The pain...
... the rage.
Both was gone now, left an empty feeling inside her... and a feeling of pity.
Pity for him, for this terrible chaos inside him, that brought him into sitoations like this over and over, that let him break away from himself all the time...
Jack stared down at her... a blank stare.
His 'little sister' propably didn't know how terrible precise each of her words had hit him...
Little sister...
Love...
The silver shining blades on her shoulders and back almost made her look like an angel.
"Ich muss nachdenken."
('I have to think.') The words where empty, calm...
... his tongue felt heavy as he spoke those words and turned around.
Slowly he walked away, deeper into the woods.
Jane followed him wiht his looks... confused...
... she hadn't excpect this.
She made a step forward, wanted to follow...
... but then she stayed where she was.
She felt it... this time... it would be better to let him go...
... surprisingly enough he reacted like this... she shouldn't push it.
Maybe... he finally...
...though...
.... still it was a little bit worrying...
Him beeing this calm usually doesn't mean any good...
Jane sobbed, whiped away the tears with her hands.
It was a cold night.
She bend down and picked up the clothes from the ground, put them on.
Something fell out of the folds of her jacket.
Two pairs of sunglasses.
It seemed Jack had stolen them from Martha... before...
... she swallowed.
Possibly the worst part about him.
... behind all this seemingly senseless, chaotic, aimless destruction...
... there was always a certain plan.

I was so worried for her there for a moment, I swear I thought Jack was gonna lose it hahah. And then it was all riek "WOAH I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING."

This was wonderful. Very well written, as usual. I love the quickness with which their moods change. It makes this interesting to follow as you can never really predict what's going to happen.
